To Find Events
Click the Events tab. Hopefully the page is self-explanatory, but if not, please .

To Change or Add Cities
Look for the "Other cities" link on the Events page. You can view any region in the United States.

To Sign In
Just enter your email address on the sign-in page and click "Login" — that's it, no password required. If you need to post or edit information, use the more secure "Send sign-in link" option instead: you'll receive an email with a link, click it, and you're verified. The link expires after one hour; request a new one if it's expired. If your email app visits links automatically (some do), the site handles that safely and the link still works when you click it yourself.

To Add or Update Events
Look for the "Add a new event" or "Update this event" links. This is a community calendar, so anyone can post and update events, even you! Adding or editing an event requires signing in first (see above). If you find an event listing is inaccurate or missing, please fix it yourself, especially since some event organizers are not very computer savvy.

To Suggest an Edit to Someone Else's Event
Signed-in users can propose changes to any event listing, even one they didn't post. Open the event, click "Update this event", make your changes, and submit. The organizer receives an email with a before-and-after summary and a single-click link to approve or reject the change. You'll get an email once they decide. If you change your mind before they respond, you can withdraw your proposal from the event page.

To Add or Change Dates of an Event
Select the event, click the "Update this event" link, and select "Edit listing". From there you can click the little calendar to add or remove dates.

To Delete an Event
Select the event, click the "Update this event" link, and select one of the delete options. This permanently deletes it from the public calendar. To cancel an event on one date, it's better to Edit the listing for that date, and change the title to indicate it is "Canceled", plus you can offer an explanation in the Description.

My Calendar
The My Calendar tab shows only the events you've personally highlighted. To add an event, open it on the Events page and click "Highlight this date" (to highlight one specific date) or "Highlight all dates" (to highlight every date of that recurring event). The event will appear highlighted in gold on the main calendar and will show up whenever you visit My Calendar. Click the same link again to remove it. You need to be signed in to use My Calendar — your highlighted events are tied to your account so they follow you across devices.

The Resources Page
The Resources tab is a community-maintained directory of tango-related people, links, and music. It has three sections you can browse using the checkboxes on the left:

Directory — listings for teachers, DJ's, musicians, performers, organizations, and shops selling shoes, apparel, or recordings.
Links, Books & Videos — curated links about tango dance and music, event information, travel and culture, instructional videos, and movies featuring tango.
Recommended Music — community picks for tango, vals, and milonga recordings, filterable by style (traditional, contemporary, alternative).

Check any category on the left to load its listings. Only one category loads at a time. If anything is missing or incorrect, anyone can add or fix it (see below).

To Add or Update a Resource Listing
On the Resources page, click "Add a new item" to create a new listing, or click any existing listing and look for the edit link to update it. You'll need to sign in with a verification link first (the same "Send sign-in link" flow used for events — see above). Fill in the details for the appropriate category and submit. Your listing appears immediately.

Your Profile Page
Once signed in, click your name or visit the profile page to see and update your display name, city, and preferred region. The profile page also lists every event you've submitted — upcoming and past — with clear status labels (live, pending approval, highlighted, or denied). You can delete or cancel your own event listings directly from there, without contacting an admin.

To Receive Email Reminders
Event hosts, teachers, musicians, and DJ's — You can receive an automatic email twice a month to remind you to update your listings if they appear outdated. To add your email address to an event, select the event, click the "Update this event" link, and add your email address where it says "Email".

To Link to Your Events
If you are an event organizer, teacher, DJ, musician, etc., you can link directly to a calendar of your events. Just select one of your events and click the "Link to this event" link. That gives you a link you can send to people or put on your website (you can even embed the calendar into a frameset on your own website). If your email address isn't listed on your events, you must add that first: Select the event, click the "Update this event" link, and add your email address where it says "Email".
